Privacy Policy

This policy describes how easyboard ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use easyboard.co, the easyboard application, and job boards hosted on our platform.
Who we are
easyboard is a platform for creating and running job boards. We act in two roles: as a data controller for the accounts of our own customers (the people who create and manage job boards), and as a data processorfor the data that our customers' job boards collect from their visitors, job seekers, and employers. For questions about data on a specific job board, the board's operator is your first point of contact.
What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, and password credentials (managed by our authentication provider, WorkOS). We never store your password ourselves.
- Billing data: your billing address and subscription status. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
- Board content:the jobs, employer profiles, candidate profiles, applications, and other content you or your board's users create.
- Usage and technical data: server logs, IP addresses (for security and rate limiting), and error reports.
- Emails: addresses submitted for job alerts, contact forms, and transactional email delivery.
How we use it
- To provide, operate, and secure the service.
- To process subscription payments and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To send transactional email (verification codes, password resets, job alerts you subscribed to, billing receipts).
- To diagnose errors and improve the product.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Subprocessors
We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers to run the service:
- Google Cloud (hosting, USA)
- Supabase (database and file storage, EU)
- WorkOS (authentication and single sign-on)
- Stripe (payments and billing)
- Postmark (transactional email)
- Inngest (background jobs and scheduling)
- Cloudflare (networking, DNS, bot protection)
- Approximated (custom domain routing)
- Sentry (error monitoring)

Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for signing in and keeping your session alive, and a small number of preference cookies (for example your theme choice). Job boards hosted on the platform may configure their own cookie consent banner and additional tools; those are controlled by the board's operator.
Fonts and tracking
Fonts are self-hosted: your browser never contacts Google Fonts or other third-party font services when using easyboard. We do not embed third-party advertising trackers in the platform.
Data retention
Account and board data are kept while your subscription is active. After cancellation, we retain data for a limited wind-down period so you can export it or reactivate, after which it is deleted. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us. If your data lives on a customer's job board, we will route your request to that board's operator where the law requires it.
Changes
We will update this policy as the service evolves and note the date of the latest revision at the top. Material changes will be announced to account holders by email.
